We would like to congratulate everyone who took part in
the Ride UK 24 Manchester 2 London Challenge 2013. We are all thoroughly
impressed with your efforts, so thank you for making it a great challenge!!
For an inaugural event, the Manchester to London Ride UK

on the grueling 250 mile challenge, with 139 of those Participants riding over
the finish line in Hackney Marshes, London roughly 24hrs later.
The cyclist to complete the challenge in the shortest
amount of time did was Trevor Riley, who did so in an impressive 20 hrs 41mins –
- 129 out of 141 cyclists managed to complete the
challenge in under 24hrs.
- The cyclist to endure the challenge for the most amount
of time, was out on the course for 26hrs 26mins.
- Only five women took on the challenge.
- One challenger, Idai Makaya, completed the entire
course in under 24hrs on an Elliptigo bike.
Riders took on the challenge in aid of many of our great
charity partners – fundraising vital sums for the charities of their choice and
others took on the challenge to test their own strength and stamina. Visit our Facebook group of the challenge for full photos, video and for what the riders had to say as the ride unfolded!
